MARSHALL SCIENTIFIC Edwards XDS35i Dry Scroll Pump
Scroll pumps are an excellent alternative to rotary vane pumps where oil free pumping is desirable. The XDS pumps in particular use an innovative bearing shield to isolate the vacuum environment from all forms of lubricant, not only making them totally dry, but also protecting the bearing from any process gases. Vapour handling is enabled by an adjustable gas ballast; this allows the range of pumps to satisfy many applications that were previously off limits to other scroll pumps. Ultimate vacuum of 0.008 mbar and peak pumping speed of 21.0 CFM.
MARSHALL SCIENTIFIC Edwards mXDS3 Dry Scroll Pump
The Edwards Vacuum range of small dry scroll pumps is expanding with the introduction of the compact mXDS3 and mXDS3s Dry Scroll Pumps. The new mXDS3 dry scroll pump delivers 1.77 CFM (3 m^3/h^-1) pumping speed at 50Hz or 2.06 CFM (3.5 m^3/h^-1) together with an ultimate pressure of 0.1 mbar making it well suited for backing turbomolecular pumps. The mXDS3 is the standard option supplied with no inlet valve fitted, while the mXDS3s comes factory fitted with an inlet valve featuring delay opening. The mXDS3s is also supplied with an exhaust silencer. Both offer the same vacuum performance and feature an IEC connector for main supply and an on/off switch for easy control. This compact dry pump offers flexibility to the system designer and end user alike with a wide range of accessories available to choose from to meet your configuration requirements. This standard variant of the mXDS3 comes with a single phase 115V, 50/60Hz motor.

The XDS dry scroll pumps have become industry standard when dry pumping is essential, proving to be a robust and clean vacuum pump solution in a range of applications and processes. The XDS46 series shares many of the same features of the XDS35 series but has been optimized for maximum pumping speed at inlet pressures between 1 mbar and 10 mbar, making it ideally suited for LCMS and ICPMS applications requiring higher pumping speeds. Ultimate vacuum of 0.050 mbar and peak pumping speed of 23.5 CFM.

The XDS46 series shares many of the same features of the XDS35 series but has been optimized for maximum pumping speed at inlet pressures between 1 mbar and 10 mbar, making it ideally suited for LCMS and ICPMS applications requiring higher pumping speeds. Ultimate vacuum of 0.050 mbar and peak pumping speed of 23.5 CFM. “C” denotes this pump as the corrosion resistant variant.

Hand-operated solvent pump for contaminationfree removal of organic solvents and flavouring agents. The hand pump works according to the overpressure principle. An excess pressure is built up in the tank with the pump ball, forcing the liquid out of the container.
Pouring flammable liquids
All medium-contacting parts are made of stainless steel AISI 304 (1.4301) and PTFE. The Bürkle anti-static set can be used to ground the pump for dispensing flammable liquids so that no electrostatic charge forms.
Gastight version
The pump can be completely closed off with the two ball valves so that no dangerous vapours can escape after dispensing.
Suitable for different containers
The hand pump is suitable for containers up to 60 litres.
